A message dated May 20, 2003, was read stating the Senate has passed                                
HB 14 am with the following amendment and it is transmitted for                                     
consideration:                                                                                      
                                                                                                    
     SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 14(STA)                                                           
     "An Act relating to an absence from the state while providing care                             
     for a terminally ill family member for purposes of determining                                 
     eligibility for a permanent fund dividend; and providing for an                                
     effective date."
